Volunteer

Most volunteer opportunities are Mondays-Thursdays between 9 am-3 pm. Below are some areas:
Individuals:
*Clothes Closet (sorting clothing donations or working clothing days, assisting clients with their needs and praying with them)
*OASIS (greeting, signing in, assisting & loving on clients in need of our laundry, shower, or locker storage facility and offering prayer)
*Food Pantry (prepare food bags during food assistance hours & sort food donations; meet with clients and pray with them, encourage them and share the hope of Jesus with them; maintain an organized pantry, sorting by expiration dates and food types)
*Prayer Room (spending time in prayer over our prayer requests, posting new requests to our walls and organizing our notebook with older prayer requests)
*Administrative (emails, phone calls, creating documents, organizing, bulletin boards, updating calendars, etc.)
*“On-Call” (simply be willing for us to call on you to utilize your ‘skill’? such as yard work, building maintenance, vehicle maintenance, grant writing, artistic, etc.)
*Fundraising (If you have experience assisting non-profits with fundraisers or you enjoy researching ideas, we would love to hear from you)
Groups/ Mission Teams:
We enjoy having mission teams to serve alongside with us! From assisting with a VBS-day camp to working in our everyday ministries, there are many different opportunities for your mission team to serve Jesus in Savannah!
Creative (each season, we love to have volunteers re-do our bulletin boards and hallway artwork)
